Kayla is a Mcgill graduate, with a Bachelor of Social Work, and has worked with youth & adults. She has experience with various mental health issues and comorbidities including anxiety, depression, burnout, addiction, interpersonal relationships & conflicts, crisis intervention, and more. She is trauma, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) informed. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), suicidal & homicidal risk assessment, conjugal violence risk assessment and prevention, chronic pain management, elder abuse and mistreatment, and psychosocial assessments (including in the context of a protection mandate).

Kayla is a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgemental individual who is passionate about advocating for your needs. Her years of experience in the public sector have sharpened this skill, as well as her knowledge of resources and programs.
